There being several of the Bibles and
other Books defective and wanting in some
of the Wards of this Hospital, It was
Order'd That Mr. Drew be desired to take
care to supply the same where there is occasion
and that he consult with Mr Mount concern-
ing the same.

The consideration of the increase of
the Expence of the Apothecary's Shop which was
adjourned at the last meeting of this Committee
being resumed this Committee came to the
following Resolution

That there appears reason to apprehend
such increase of expence has arisen partly
from the full number of patients in the
House but more especially from the encreased
numbers of Out patients and the too
large dispensing of Medicines to them
at a time And also from the enlarging the
Dispensatory of the Hospital both as to
the Number & Value of the Medicines
which the Physicians have thought necess-
-ary for the welfare of the Patients

It is therefore the Opinion of this Comittee
That It be recommended to the Physicians
of this house to be cautions of using such
druggs as are dear or may Occasionally
