of this Hospital had resigned his said office of
Physician and that this Court was call'd in order
to Chose another Physician in the room of the
said Dr. Wadsworth.

Resolved nemine Contradicents
That the thanks of this Court be given to the said
Dr. Thomas Wadsworth< no role > for his Cong & Diligent Care
and faithful Service as one of the Physicians to
this Hospital and the President gave him
thanks Accordingly and the said Dr being then
present in Court in a Very respectfull manner
assured the Court he should always have the wefare
of this Hospital at heart and notwithstanding
his affairs had obliged him to resigne his office
of Physician he should at all times be ready
to do every good Office for the Service of this Hosp
as Occasion should require.

And then this Court proceeded to the Choice of
a Physician to Succeed the said Dr. Wadsworth and
the Petitions of Dr Abraham Hall< no role > Dr. Pelham Johnston< no role >
Dr Robt. Nesbit< no role > & Dr Wm. Woodford< no role > were presented to
[..] to this Court & read severally praying to be
Admitted one of the Physicians of this Hospital
in the room of the said Dr. Wadsworth and upon
the said Persons being Severally put up It
appeard that Dr Hall & Dr Johnston had the
majority and they being again put up the
said Dr Abra: Hall< no role > was duly chosen to the
said Place to hold the same with the usuall Salary
