The president acquainting the Court with the Death
of Mr. Josias Paul< no role > one of the Surgeons of this Hospital
And that this Court was called for the Election of a Surgeon
in the room of the said Mr Paul.

The Petitions of Mr. Joshua Symonds< no role > Mr. John Girle< no role >
Mr Alexander Geekie< no role > Mr. George Coldham< no role > & Mr Noah Ronle< no role >
severally praying to be Admitted one of the Surgeons of this Hospl. in
the room of the said Mr Paul were thereupon presented
to this Court and read And the said Mr. Joshua Symonds< no role >
was freely Chosen to the said Place To hold the same
during the Pleasure of this Court with the usual Salaries &
Allowance thereunto belonging.

Generral Court mcur 26 o. March 1729

The Orders and Proceedings of the last General Court
were read approved and Confirmed.

Subscriptions being recommended by the President to
the Court towards defraying the great Charge and expence
of the Hospital the Gentlemen after named subscribed the
severall Sums following Vizt.

The President acquainted the Court that Dr. Caleb
Colesworth
< no role > one of the Physitians of this Hospital had
resigned his said Office of Physician and that this Court was
called in order to the choosing some fit person to Succeed
the said Dr. Colesworth in the said Office of Physician.

Whereupon this Court was moved that thanks might be
given to the said Dr. Caleb Colesworth< no role > for his [..]

[..] Care and
[..] diligence in the service of this
Hospital during the time of his being Physician.

It was therefore unanimously resolved that the
thanks of this Court be given to the said Dr Caleb Colesworth< no role >
