WHEREAS it hath appear [..] upon the Com-
plaint of the Church [..] of the said Parish of
St. Leonard Shoreditch asupo [..] Radford
that she the said [..] on the 22 Day of

[..] Child in the House
Leonard Shoreditch and [..]
to the said Parish of [..] chargeable
[..] late of [..] Seger
Bastard Child on the Body of [..] did beget the said
at the said Joseph Pegar< no role > [..] and Whereas
for that purpose but [..] of our Summons
should not be adjudged [..] Bastard Child
We therefore, upon Examination [..] of the Premises, as
well upon the Oath of the said [..] as otherwise, do hereby
adjudge him the said Joseph [..] the reputed Father of the
said Bastard Child.

And thereupon we do order, as well for [..] Relief of the said Parish of St.
Leonard Shoreditch as for the Sustentation [..] of the said Bastard Child, that
the said Joseph Segar< no role > shall and do [..] upon Notice of this our Order,
pay or cause to be paid to the said Church- [..] and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of the Lenonrd Shoreditch [..] or to some or one [..] the Sum of Nine Pounds
for and towards the Lying-in of the said [..] and the Main-
tenance of the said Bastard Child, to the [..] making this our Order.

And we do also hereby further order, [..] said Joseph Segar< no role > shall likewise
pay or cause to be paid, to the Church-War [..] Overseers of the Poor of the said said St Parish
of St [..] for the Time being, some or one of them, the Sum of
[..] Weekly and every Week, from [..] present Time, for and towards the
Keeping, Sustentation, and Maintenance of [..] said Bastard Child, for and during
so long Time as the said Bastard Child shall [..] to the said Parish of St Leonard
Shoreditch And we do further order, that the said [..] shall also pay
or cause to be paid to the said Church-Ward [..] and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St. Leonard Shoreditch for the Time being [..] some or one of them, the Sum of
[..] Weekly and every [..] so long as the said Bastard Child
shall be chargeable to the said [..] case the shall not nurse
and take care of the said Child herself.
