To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the County of Middlesex in their present
General Quarter Session of the Peace assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of an Order of Pass Warrant
under the hands and Seals of N Conant and
John Scott< no role > Esquires Two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in and for the said County (One
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
29th day of October 1799 Elizabeth Smally< no role > aged
about Eighteen years Singlewoman was Removed
and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of
Saint Giles in the fields in the County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes as
the Place of her last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Order of the said Two
Justices appeal to your Worships therefrom
and humbly pray that you will be pleased
to hear them in the Premises and Order that
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the
fields may appear before you on a certain
day to be appointed to Abide the Judgment
and Determination of the Court touching
the said appeal

And your Petitioners will ever
pray
