I Humphry Jackson< no role > Esquire one
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex do hereby Certify that Thomas Wright< no role >
late of the parish of Tottenham in the County of Middlesex
Carrier was on the twenty second day of February last
past duly Convicted before me upon the Information
upon Oath of William Harcum and upon the Oath of a
Credible Witness that he the said Thomas Wright< no role > did on the
ninth day of February last past upon a certain Turnpike Road
in the parish of Tottenham aforesaid did unlawfully use or cause
to be used a Waggon of which he was then and then the
Owner which said Waggon haveing the fellies of the Wheels
of the Breadth or Gauge of nine Inches did then and then
pass and was did win upon the said Turnpike Road in
the parish aforesaid with more than Eight Horses that is
to say, with none Horses Contrary to the Statute Etc.
By reason where of I did adjudge him to pay for the
said Offence the Sum of Five Pounds-after which
I received a Notice that the said Thomas Wright< no role >
meant to Appeal to the next General Quarter
