Gentlemen
Finding that a late Act of
Parliament authorises the Magistrate to allow
the Constable a compensation for Collecting the
County-rate.
I beg leave to submit to your Worships
the distances of the Parishes in Finsbury Division
being an round of not less than twenty two miles
and I always go personally to serve the Notices
for each rate and call on the several Officers of
each Parish some three and some four times for
the money.
I humbly beg your Worships will
take the same into consideration, and allow me
what shall appear to you most just.
