MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County, (by adjournment) on Thursday
the Fourth Day of April
in the thirty ninth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc.

IT IS ORDERED, That the hearing and determining the matter of an Appeal between
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke in the
County of Middlesex Appellants and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch in the
said County Respondents touching the settlement of Mary Tomlins< no role > and
Wife of William< no role > and her three Children lawful Issue namely William< no role > aged
about Fourteen Years Ann< no role > aged Twelve Years neithier of whom had gained
any legal settlement in their own right and Sarah< no role > aged Seven years and
Upwards ; which stood duly adjourned until this day Do at the request of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch Stand further adjourned
until the next GeneralSession of the Peace to be holden for this County
and on notice hereof in the Meantime to be given unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke
they and all persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session House aforesaid, on
Thursday the Ninth day of May next, at the Hour of Nine in the
Forenoon of the same Day to hear and abide the judgement and determination of the said
Court touching the said Appeal.
