The Forman and several of the Grand Jury
residing in the Neighbourhood of Whitchapel
Beg leave to lay before your Worships, that the
Pavement in Field Gate Street Whitechapel
is in a very bad state, and has been so for a long
time past, in particular opposite to the House
of John Green< no role > , Turner ,Leman Millwright
and the Prince of Orange publick house; a load
of hay has been overtimed and other accidents
happened from the deep holes in the said pavement
which are very dangerous, and a great nuisance to
the public, We beg leave to submit to your
Worships the propriety of the Constable of White
chapel examining the same and making a proper
ret [..] m of the same
