having the Care of the Mutineers going to unlock them<lb></lb>
to serve their Bread at the usual time 6 o'Clock in the Morning, On<lb></lb>
opening the Door of the Yard saw some Jacket Trowsers Shirts and<lb></lb>
Stockings allowed by the County, and perceiveing some of the Prisoners<lb></lb>
had mad their Escape by the Cells Doors being open, immediately<lb></lb>
proceeded to the Governor who came Instantly down, and or examine-<lb></lb>

, had made their Escape, the Lock of<lb></lb>

appears to have been done with an hold fast taken from the case of the<lb></lb>
Water Closet in Gainer's Cells, and by a deception which Davis made<lb></lb>
use of by taking his Cloths of laying them on the Bed with his Night<lb></lb>
Cap stuffed full of Oakum on the Pillow his shoes by the Bed side and to<lb></lb>
all appearance to the Man who had the care of them to lock them up<lb></lb>
to be in Bed, (which now remains to be sun) their is every reason to beleive<lb></lb>
he concealed himself in the Privy their being no other place where he could secret<lb></lb>
