taken on Oath before as three
of This Majestys Justices of
the Peace on and for the
day of April 1798

Who saith that he has heard say &
he believes the same to be true that
he was born at Solengea in Germany
that be came to England with his Parents
that some sears Ago his Father Rented
and lived in a House in New Complon
Street in the Parish of St. Giles in the
Fields in the County of Middlesex
at the Yearly rent of fifty pounds
and thereby gained a legal Settlement
and lastly this Examinant saith
that be never did any Act in his
own right whereby to gain as
Subsequent legal Settlement to
the best of his Knowledge and
belief
