To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex at
their General Session of the Peace holden
for the said County assembled

The humble Petition and appeal of Thomas
Rumball
< no role > being an inhabitant within
the Parish of the Holy Trinity Minories in
the said County of Middlesex and rated
towards the relief of the Poor there.

Sheweth
That on or about the twenty fifth day of May last
a Rate or assessment was made and allowed
for the relief of the Poor within the said Parish
for which your Petitioner was assessed at the
Sum of Three hundred pounds being an
Inhabitant of that Parish.

Your Petitioner therefore humbly appeals
against the said last mentionedRate or
assessment and prays that the same may
be quashed or that your Petitioner may
have such Relief in the Premises as
to your Worships shall seem meet and
that your Worships with appoint a day
in this present session to hear and
determine this his Petition and appeal.
