WHEREAS Complaint has been unto Us, Two
of HIS MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and
for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , in the
said County, That George Tanner< no role > is
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto Us the
said Justices, and We do adjudge, that He is
become chargeable to the said Parish: And upon Exa-
mination of the Premises taken upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, it further appeareth unto Us, and We do like-
wife adjudge, that the Parish of St. Paul
Shadwell in the said County
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said George Tanner< no role >

THESE are therefore in HIS MAJESTY'S Name to Charge
and Command the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , forth-
with to remove and convey the said George Tanner< no role >

from the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields , to the
said Parish of St. Paul Shadwell
and deliver him to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them; who are
hereby required to provide for him according to Law.
Given under Our Hands and Seals the 29th Day
of April1797

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields , in the County
of Middlesex , and St. Paul Shadwell
in the said County
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
