MIDDLESEX


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County,()
on Monday in the feast of the Epippany to wit the Ninth Week next after the Day of Januaryin
the Thirty SeventhYear of the Regin of our Sovereign
Lord GEORGE the Third, king of Great Britain, &C. Before
William Mainwaring< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , John Bond< no role >
David Dean< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses,and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas The Governors and Quardians of The Hospital for the maintenance and
Education of exposed and deserted young Children did at the last General Quarter Session
of the peace held in and for this County Exhibit their Petition and appeal setting forth That
by an Order in Writing under the Hand and Seal of Samuel Foyster< no role > Esqr one of this Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex made on the 14th day of October last It was
Ordered that the Petitioners should within Six days after notice thereof pay the Sum of Four
pounds Thirteen Shillings and nine pence charged upon them for and towards the repair
of the Highways of the parish of Saint Paneras to the Surveyors of the Highways of the said
parish and in case they should neglect so to do he the said Samuel Foyster< no role > should
immediately after issue a Warrant to levy the said Sum together with Costs and Charges.
attending the same by Distress and Sale of the Petitioners Goods and Chattles, whereby the
Petitioners conceised themselves aggrieved which said appeal stood duly adjourned until this
Session Now upon hearing the said appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective
Parties and their Counsel in and conaming the Premises It is Ordered that the
said appeal be and the same is hereby dismisses and that the said Order of the said
Samuel Foyster< no role > be and the same is hereby Confirmed
