MIDDLESEX


AT the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King, holden for the County of
Middlesex , at the Guildhall in King Street , Westminster , in the said County on Wednesday
the Nineteenth Day of October in the Thirty sixth Year of the
Regin of our Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. Before William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , David Dean< no role > , Richard Holbrook< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the
County aforesaid; and also to bear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours
committed in the same County. That Session of the Peace is adjourned, by the aforesaid Justices of
our said Lord the King above named and others their Fellows aforesaid, here until Monday
the Twenty fourth day of the same Month of October at the hour of Ten in the Forenoon
of the same Day, to be holden at the Session House upon Clerkenwell Green , in and for the said County,
and that at the same Session of the Peace being holden by Adjournment aforesaid, at the Session House
aforesaid, in and for the said County, on the said Monday the Twenty fourth Day of
October in the Year aforesaid before the said Justices of our said Lord the King
abovenamed, and others their Fellows aforesaid. That Session of the Peace is adjourned by the afore-
said Justices of our said Lord the king above named, and others their Fellows aforesaid, here until
Tuesday the Twenty fifth Day of the same Month of October at the Hour and
Place last abovesaid, and that at the same Session of the Peace, being holden by Adjournment afore-
said, at the Session House aforesaid, in and for the said County, on the said Tuesday the
Twenty fifth Day of October in the thirty seventh Year of the Regin of our said Sovereign Lord George the third thing of peat Britain Etc. before the said Justices of our
said Lord the King abovenamed, and others their Fellows aforesaid. That Session of the Peace is ad-
juorned by the aforesaid Justices of our said Lord the King abovenamed, and others their Fellows
aforesaid, here until Wednesday the Twenty sixth Day of the same Month of October
at the Hour and Place last abovesaid, and that at the same Session of the Peace being holden bt Ad-
Journment aforesaid, at the Session House aforesaid, in and for the said County, on the said
Wednesday the Twenty sixth Day of October in the Year last aforesaid before the
said Justices of our said Lord the King above named and others their Fellows aforesaid, that Session
of the Peace is adjourned by the aforesaid Justices of our said Lord the King above named, and
others their Fellows aforesaid here until Thursday the Twenty seventh Day of the same Month
of October at the Hour and Place last abovesaid. And that at the same Session of the Peace
being holden by Adjournment aforesaid, at the Session House aforesaid, in and for the said County, on
the said Thursday the Twenty seventh Day of October in the Year last aforesaid before
the said Justices of our said Lord the King abovenamed, and others their Fellows aforesaid.

Whereas Prince Walker< no role > of Hounslow in the County of Middlesex Postmaster Hath
at this present Session Exhibited his petition and Appeal setting forth That He was on or about the
24th. day of June last past Convicted by John Spiller< no role > Esqr. one of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the
said County For that he did on the 23d. day of May last past at the Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square in the said County unlawfully keep use and employ a certain Carriage for the purpose of
conveying passengers for hire to and from different places within the Kingdom of Great Britain to wit to and from
London to Hounslow aforesaid in the said County without being first duly Licensed agreeable to an
Act of parliament passed in the Twenty fifth Year of the Regin of his present Majesty Intitled "An Act
for repealing the duties on Licences taken out by Persons letting Horses for the purpose of travelling
post and on Horses let to hire for travelling post and by time and on Stage Coaches and for granting
other duties in lien thereof, and also additional duties on Horses let to Hire for travelling post and
by time: whereby the petitioner conceived himself aggrieved Now upon hearing the said
Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Parties their Counsel and Witnesses in
and concerning the premises It is Ordered that the said Conviction be and the same is
hereby Quashed.
