charging that your Petitioner being a Person<lb></lb>
using and excercising the Trade and business of a Pawnbroker.<lb></lb>
at Shorts Gardens in the said County on the second day of August<lb></lb>
now last past at Shorts Gardens aforesaid did take and receive of <lb></lb>
and from one <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50929_n61-47">Esther Dale</rs>

<interp inst="LMSMPS50929_n61-47" type="surname" value="Dale"></interp>

a certain Pledge to wit a pair of Earrings <lb></lb>
upon which did then and there lend the sum of Two Shillings and <lb></lb>
that your Petitioner at the time of the taking the said Pledge did<lb></lb>
neglect and refuse to give to the said Esther Dale a Note or<lb></lb>
memorandum as directed by the Statute in such case made<lb></lb>
and provided and did receive and retain said Pledge without<lb></lb>
the said Esther Dale accepting or taking the said note or<lb></lb>
memorandum Contrary to the form of the Statute in such case <lb></lb>
made and provided</p>
<p n="62">That your Petitioner conceives himself agrieved by<lb></lb>
such Conviction and is advised to Appeal against the same</p>
<p n="63">Your Petitioner therefore humbly<lb></lb>
Prays your worships will be pleased to<lb></lb>
permit him to enter his appeal so that the<lb></lb>
same may be heard at this present General<lb></lb>
Session of the Peace in and for the said County<lb></lb>
and that your Worships will appoint a Day<lb></lb>
for hearing and determining the same</p>
<p n="64">And as in duty found will <lb></lb>
ever pray Etc.</p>
