Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Clement near Eastcheap
in the
City of London
.
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Warrant or order under the
hands & Seals of

two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
in and for
the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the 27th. day of January 1796

Wife
of

and their four
Children

aged about six Years
Margaret< no role >
aged
about four Years
Matthew< no role >
aged about three Years
and
Hannah< no role >
aged about Eleven Months were
removed from the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel
in the said County of Middlesex
to the Parish of
Saint Clement near Eastcheap
in the City of London
as the place of their last legal Settlement.
That Your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved by the said Warrant or order and
humbly appeal against the same
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that your Worships will be
pleased to appoint a day in the
next Session that all parties may
attend to hear & abide the Judgment &
determination of this Court touching
the said Appeal
And Your Petitioners shall ever
Pray Etc.
