The Humble Petition and Appeal of The Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Trinity Little Minories in the County of Middlesex

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of Thomas Barnard< no role > and R. Davies Esqrs .. two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Middlesex
One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the Ninth day of
April 1796 Rachael Holt< no role > Widow of Theophilus Holt< no role > deceased
and their Child Jane< no role > were removed and conveyed from and out
of the Parish of Saint Mary White< no role > Chapel to the said Parish of
Trinity Little Minories in the Liberty of the Tower of London
as the place of the last legal Settlement of the said Rachael
Holt< no role > and Child whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggreived

Therefore they appeal to this Court against
the Adjudication of the said two Justices and the
said Order And Pray that your Worships will
be pleased to Adjourn the hearing of the said
Appeal and appoint some day in the next
Sessions for the hearing and determination of
the said Appeal and to Order that the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint Mary Whitechapel and all Persons
concerned do then attend this Court

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray
