Middlesex in their General Quarter Session
of the Peace assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal
of the Church wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Leon as do
Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under the hands
and Seals of G. J. Goodenough and Edward
Read
< no role > Esquire Two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in and for the Liberty of Westminster
and County of Middlesex bearing date the
Seventh day of January 1796 Elizabeth
King
< no role > the wife of John King< no role > now absent was
removed and Conveyed out of the Parish of
Saint Mary le strand in the said liberty of
westminster and County of Middlesex unto
the Parish of Saint Leonard Storeditch
in the said County as the Place of the last
legal settlement of the said Elizabeth
King

That Your Petitioners Conceive
themselves aggrieved by the said order
and do appeal thereto

Your Petitioners therefore meet
humbly pray That you will be
Pleased to appoint a Day in the
next Session for bearing and
Determining the merits of the
said Appeal

And Your Petitioners peace
Ever Pray &c.
