this day presented with the sum of £32..5..6. as the<lb></lb>
Contribution of the Officers and privates of the Saint Annes<lb></lb>
Corps of Gentlemen Volunteers for the said Benevolent<lb></lb>
purpose desire to return their unanimous and grateful thanks to<lb></lb>
the said Officers and privates and to take this Opportunity to<lb></lb>
express to them the high Sense they in common with the<lb></lb>
rest of the parishioners entertain of their Loyalty public<lb></lb>
Spirit and disinterested Patriotism in standing forth at their<lb></lb>
own expence in support of our happy Constitution and the<lb></lb>
protection of Legal Liberty and Property and at the same<lb></lb>
time they lament that any occasion has occurred to call<lb></lb>
for their Assistance in support of the civil Magistrate they<lb></lb>
are happy to find that through their exertions the public<lb></lb>
quiet was restored and private property preserved; and<lb></lb>
they therefore beg leave to transmit to them their grateful<lb></lb>
Acknowledgements equally impressed by the Services of their<lb></lb>
personal Exertions in Defence of the property of Individuals<lb></lb>
and with their very liberal contribution to a General<lb></lb>
Fund</p>
