The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Helen in the City of London

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Herbt. Mayo< no role > and John
Staples< no role > two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the
twenty second day of July last Frances Lipman< no role >
Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from and out
of the said Parish of Saint George in the sd County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Helen as the
Place of the lawful Settlement of the said Frances
Lipman

That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Order

Your Petitioners therefore pray that the
said Appeal may be head and determined
at this present General Quarter Session
of the peace and that your Petitioners
may be relived against the said Order

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc
