his Wife
and three Children
States that about twenty three years ago he was lawfully married to his present
Wife Mary< no role >
by banns at Christchurch

That he hath Issue by his said Wife three Children namely Sophia< no role >
aged about
Nine years Sarah< no role >
aged about Seven and George< no role >
aged about Four years Thar about
Nine years ago he this Examinant Rented a Rope Ground of the Committee of the
City Lands situate in Tabernacle Walk in the parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the County of Middlesex
at the yearly Rent of Seven Pounds fourteen Shillings That
he rented the same for about Six years
That soon after he Rented the said Rope Ground he Proceeded to Build thereon
three son all Tenements
That so soon as the said three Tenements were Biult he this Examinant let two
of them out to Weekly Tenants at the Rents following one at Two shillings and
six per week and the other at Two shilling per Week and the other of the said
Three Houses he this Examinant and his family occupied that he then purchased
another small House in the same Parish and near to the three Houses aforesaid
and let it out to Weekly Tenants at Two Shillings Per Week
That he hath not since Renting the said Rope Ground and Building and
Purchasing the Houses aforesaid done any Act sufficient to gain himself
a settlement elsewhere
And Lastly that he this Examinant his sd. Wife and three Children are
Chargeable to the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell
in the County of
Middlesex
