To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their Quarter Session of the Peace
assembled.

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardn
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Dunstan in the West in the City of London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the
Hands and Seals of R Davies and P. Colquhoun Esquires
Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the Thirty first Day of May one thousand
seven hundred and Ninety four Sarah Lewis< no role > Wife of
John Lewis< no role > and her Child John< no role > aged about Eighteen
Months were removed and conveyed from and out of that
part of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn which lies
above the Bars to the Parish of Saint Dunstan in the the
West in the City of London as the Place of the last
legal settlement of the said Sarah Lewis< no role > and her Child
John.

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved
by the said Warrant or Order Do humbly appeal
against the same and pray this Court that the
benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them until the
next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said
County of Middlesex and that they and all persons
concerned may then attend to hear and abide the judgment and
determination of this Court touching the said Appeal
