To the worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in their present General Sessions of the peace for
the said County assembled

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint Alban in
the County of Hertford

Sheweth;


That by an Order or pass warrant under the hands and
seals of Sir W. Gibbons Rent and Thomas Wood< no role > the younger Esquire two
of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the twenty first day of September last past whereby
George Cottrill< no role > Hannah< no role > his wife and their four Children
(namely) John< no role > aged about eight years George< no role > aged about six
Years and Mary< no role > aged about five years and Ann< no role > aged about
three years were removed and conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Hanworth in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Saint Alban as the place of their last
legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved by
the said Order of Removal so made by the said
two Justices Appeal to your Worships against the
same and request you will be pleased to respite
the hearing and determination of the said Appeal
until the next Sessions of the Peace to be holden for
the said County of Middlesex
