MIDDLESEX .


At the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the
County of Middlesex , at the Session-House for the said
County, () on Monday
the Seventeeth Day of February
in the Thirty Fourth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the Third, King of Great
Britain, Etc. Before William Mainwaring< no role >
Rupert Clarke< no role > Daniel Williams< no role > John Hole< no role >
Esquires , and others their Felllows, Justices of our said
Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid; and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies, Trespasses, and other Misdemeanours com-
mitted in the same County.

WHEREAS the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint John the
Evangelist in the City of Westminster in the County of Middlesex Did at the last General
Quarter Session of the Peace held in the and for this County Exhibit their Petition and Appeal
setting forth That by virtue of an order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals
of Mich. Downs< no role > and R Johnson Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the 27th day of November 1793 charles Corderoy< no role > aged
near fourteen years was removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint James
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of
Saint John the Evangelist Westminster as the place of His last legal settlement whereby
the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved, which said appeal stood duly adjourned in
until this Session

NOW, upon hearing the said Appeal, in the presence and hearing of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint James Westminster
and they consenting by their Counsel to the allowing the said Appeal, IT IS ORDERED,
that the said Appeal be, and the same is hereby allowed, and the said Order of the said two Jus-
tices is hereby vacated and set aside; and IT IS FUTHER ORDERED that the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint John the Evangelist Westminster
do forthwith convey and deliver back the said Charles Corderoy< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) unto the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint James Westminster who are hereby required to
receive and provide for the said Charles Corderoy< no role >
until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due course of Law.
