To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. James , at Clerkenwell , in the County of
Middlesex ; and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Bishopstone in the County
of Wilts

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, being
Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of Middlesex , (One whereof being of the Quo-
rum,) by the Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. James , at Clerkenwell , in the said Coun-
ty, That Mary Whiting< no role > and Henry Whiting< no role > aged about
five years and Mary Whiting< no role > aged about eight months

lately came to inhabit in the said Parish of St. James at
Clerkenwell , not having gained any legal Settlement
there, nor produced any Certificate acknowledging them
to be settled elsewhere, and one likelyto become
chargeable to the said Parish: We, the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also
adjudge the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Mary Whiting< no role > Henry Whiting< no role > and Mary Whiting< no role >

to be in the Parish of Bishopstone in the County of
Wilts

THESE are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, and by
Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf, to require you,
on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the said Mary
Whiting
< no role > Henry Whiting< no role > and Mary Whiting< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of St James at Clerken-
well , to said Parish of Bishopstone
and them deliver to the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some of one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof, who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals this Sixteenth
Day of January in the Year of Our Lord One
Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety four
