said County of Middlesex
but now of Woodford
in the
County of Essex
Gentleman
Sheweth
That Your Petitioner was on or about the fifth
day of January 1791pleased as an Apprentice
with
Evan
Williams< no role >
and
Thomas Williams< no role >
of the Strand
in the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields
aforesaid Booksellers and Stationers
to learn their
Art and Trade during the space or time of Seven Years from thence next
ensuing
That your Petitioner hath served the said Evan Williams< no role >
and Thomas Williams< no role >
for the term of Two Years and eleven Months
during which time he hath received much ill treatment from the said
Evan Williams< no role >
and Thomas Williams< no role >
And that the said Evan Williams< no role >
and Thomas Williams< no role >
have neglected to teach and instruct Your Petitioner in
such their Trade and calling And that Your Petitioner by reason of the
want of such Instruction is thereby ignorans of the same or any part
thereof
Your Petitioner therefore most humbly Prays
your Worships that he may be discharged from the
Service of the said Evan Williams< no role >
and Thomas
Williams< no role >
And that a proportionable may be returned
to Your Petitioner or to such other person as Your
Worships shall please to appoint In Trust for him
Or that Your Worships would make such other Order
in the Promises as to your Worships shall seem meet
And Your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc.
