The humble petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint Margaret
next the City of Rochester
in the County of Kent
Sheweth
That by virtue of an order of removal under the hands and
seals of A Graham and W Bleamire
Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of
Middlesex
bearing date the twentieth day of August now
last past

was
removed from the parish of Saint Sepulchre which lieth in the
said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Margaret
next Rochester
the said Justices thereby adjudging that to be the
place of the last legal Settlement of the said

That Your petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved by the
said order and judgment of the said two Justices and do
humbly appeal therefrom
Your petitioners therefore most humbly pray that your
Worships would be pleased to appoint some day in this
present Session [..] to hear this their Appeal and to make
an Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the said parish of Saint Sepulchre
and all
parties concerned in and about the premises may then
and there hear and abide the determination of your
Worships therein
And your petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
