The examination of William James Stillman< no role >
a Rogue and Vagabend apprehended by
Peter Mayne< no role > a Constable in the parish of Saint
George Middlesex in the said County and brought
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace in
and for the County aforesaid taken this 22nd day
of February in the year of our Lord 1793 who or
this oath saith that about ten year ago he served a regular Apprentice
to John Dower< no role > opposite Whitechapel Workhouse
in the parish of Saint Mary White Chapel and
said County of Middlesex Taylor ; and that to
the best of his knowledge and belief he has not
since gained any legalPlace ofSettlement.
