The Examination of John Fotherly< no role > a Royne and Vagabond Taken upon
Oath this 21st day of March 1793

Who says I live with my Father and Mother my Father Lives in Greenfield
Street in the Hamlet of Mile End old Town myHe-Rents a House Number
Sixteen in Greenfield Street aforesaid I do not know what Rent he Pays for it
he is by Trade a Painter the house wherein I was apprehanded belongs to
Mr. Phillips he keeps a Green Stall I did not do business for him the
other people in the Room with me were Mrs. Phillips Mr. Mathews Mr.
Knowland and Mr. Phillips Mr. Knowland is a Milkman in Princes Row
I do not know whose Mr. Matthews lives my Father pays the Taxes in the said
Hamlet and I believe I am Legally Settled there
