for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session
assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Anne within the Liberty of Westminster in
the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of an Order
under the hands and seals of I. Reading and
Nicholas Bond< no role > Esquires two of His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex (One
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the third
day of January instant a female Child named
Elizabeth born of the Body of Jane Wright< no role > , Singlewoman
was Removed and conveyed from and out of
the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields within
the Liberty of Westminster to the said Parish of
Saint Anne as the place of her last legal
Settlement, whereby your Petitioners conceives
themselves aggreived

They therefore humbly Appeal
to this Court against the Adjudicated and
Order of the said Two Justices and pray that
the benefit of the said Appeal, may he saved
unto them, and that it may be Adjournd
until the next General Session, to be holden
in and for the said County.

And Your Petitioners will ever pray
