To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace at the New
Session House Clerkenwell Green assemble.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden Within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of William Addington< no role > and P A Mitchell
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace acting in and for
the City and Liberty aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing date the twenty fourth day of October last Henry Lee< no role >
and Catherine< no role > his Wife were removed from the Parish of Saint Martin
in the Fields Within the Liberty of Westminster aforesaid to the said
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the place of their last Legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved
and do Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court that
your Worships will be pleased to save the benefit of
their Appeal and to adjourn the hearing & determining
there of until the next Session of the Peace to be holden
in and for the said County at the new Session House
aforesaid And that all Persons concerned may be
directed then and there to attend

And yr. Petitioners shall ever pray etc
