Chairman and the rest of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex at the
General Quarter Session of the Peace for the
said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of Lewis Wheatley< no role >

Sheweth


That on the fifth day of November One thousand
Seven hundred and Ninety two Your Petitioner was
Convicted before George Story< no role > Esquire and John Staples< no role >
Esquire two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex for Receiving Harbouring
and Detaining a Spaniel Day the Property of
John Ralph Gibson< no role > Knowing the same to have
been Stolen and was adjudged by the said Justices
to forfeit and pay of the same the sum of Twenty
Pounds

That Your Petitioner Conceiving himself
agrieved by the said Conviction Humbly Pray
that Your Worships will grant him the benefit
of his Appeal and such other relief in the
Premises as may seem meet

And as in duty bound will ever Pray Etc. Etc Etc
