This Informant James Porteus< no role >
on his Oath saith
That on the seventeenth day of December Instant
the Prisoner under Examination John Clinch< no role >
came
to this Informants Warehouse in White Lyon Street
aforesaid and said his master Mr. Stracey had sent
him for two pounds of Indigo (meaning the said
Thomas Stracey< no role >
) that this Informant accordingly
delivered to the said John Clinch< no role >
two pounds weight of
Indigo And this Informant further saith that the
next Day the Eighteenth day of December Instant
the Prisoner came to him at his Warehouse and
said that his Master approved of the Indigo and that
he wanted Six pounds more, that this Informant
accordingly delivered to the Prisoner Six pounds weight
more of the said Indigo; supposing that the said
Thomas Stracey< no role >
had sent for the Same.
