Survey of the Footway Bridge at new Brentford

The ports of the Railing where they insert
into the Cill or main beam are decayd. the other party
of the Framing decayd & the whole Rail loose &
dangerous, the Main Beam planking to the Stuling
in Part Dicay'd

The Water dripping from the paving into the
Mortices of the Ports, & on the main beam is the
principal cause of this decay

No permanent Repair can be made to
the Railing, which should be use; & of the main
Beam is not too much decay'd. it may be supported
by a Truss; the Foot paring to be taken up, the
planking & Joirt under a to be repair'd, the
Current of paving alter'd, relaid, & made good, the
planking to the Stirlings to be repair'd

Estimate for the above Works Repairs
Amounts to Sixty Pounds
