The following report of Mr Rogers the County Surveyor made in
Pursuance of the Direction of the Committee appointed to consider the Petition
of the Inhabitants of Enfield relative to the Bridge
at Forty Hill being
read Viz.

Resolved That this Court would not be warranted in considering this
as a County Bridge
Ordered That the Clerk of the Peace
do Transmitt to Mr Prescott a Copy
of the Report of the County Surveyor and at the same time request him to
communicate to the other Gentleman interested in the said petition the
said Report and the resolution of the Court thereon

It having been suggested to the Court that the Vagrant Act passed
in the last Session of Parliament would very much alter the System of the
Vagrant Laws Resolved that it be referred to the Committee to whom the
petition of

referred to take the same into Consideration & Report their Opinion theron
to the Court and that the said Committee do meet on this subject and on the

Tradesmen who had performed Work at the New Building before they
