Sir,
On Wednesday last I had the honor to
receive your Letter inclosing me Six
Copies of his Majesty's
[..] for &
warning also persons to be upon their Guard against attempt wch
have been made to excite Groundless discontents by means of sundry
seditious Publications and charging Magistrates to exert themselves to
discover the Authors thereof, and to take effectual care to Prevent any
Tumults and disorders to which they may tend
l beg leave to assure you, in answer thereto
That In obedience to His Majesty's Comd.
I shall not fail, forthwith to communi-
cate the business to The Justices of the
Peace
for the County of Middlesex
, at the
Adjournment of their Sessions on [..]
tomorrow, being Saturday the 2d. of this
instant June, when I have no doubt
The Magistrates will adopt such measures
as they shall deem the most proper &
[..] Efficacious for carrying His Majesty's
Proclamation into Effect throughout
This County.of Middlesex
