To the Right Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Sessions assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
church Wardens and Overseers of the
Parish of Saint John at Hackney in the
said County of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of William Quarrill< no role > and John Staples< no role > two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (whereof one is of the Quorum)
bearing date the fifteenth day of February in the year of our Lord One
thousand seven hundred and ninety one Margaret< no role > the Wife of William
Bodman Crockatt
< no role > who was then Imprisoned in the Marshalsea Prison for
Debt was removed from the Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the
County of Middlesex unto the said Parish of Saint John at Hackney in
the said County of Middlesex alledging the said Parish of Saint John at
Hackney to be the place of her last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves aggrieved by
the said Warrant or Order of the said two Justice do therefore
appeal to Your Worships therefrom and humbly pray that
you will be pleased to hear them in the Premises and Order
that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex
may appear before you at a certain Day to be appointed
to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of your
Worships touching the Appeal

And Your Petitioners as in Duty bound
will ever pray Etc.
