to his Present Majesty by Virtue of a Certain Act of Parliament made and passed<lb></lb>
in the Twenty Sixth<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
Year of the Regin of His present Majesty Entitled an Act For<lb></lb>
Granting to his Majorty certain Stamp Duties on Perfumery Hair Powder and<lb></lb>
other Articles therein mentioned and on Licences to be taken Out by persons Uttering<lb></lb>
or Vending the same without the Cover Wrapper or Label directed by the said<lb></lb>
Act to be pasted Stuck Fastned or Affixed to the said Inclosure Containing the<lb></lb>
Said Cosmetic called Carmine previous to the Sale or exposing to Sale thereof<lb></lb>
being well and Sufficiently pasted Stuck Fastned or Affixed to the said<lb></lb>
Inclosure and marked and Stamped with the mark or Stamp provided<lb></lb>
to be used by the Commissioners appointed to manage the Duties Charged on<lb></lb>
Stamped Vellum Parchment and Paper to denote the said Duty of One penny<lb></lb>
in such manner as in and by the said Act is thereby directed and<lb></lb>
required And Further take Notice that I have caused a proper<lb></lb>
recognizance to be Entered into to prosecute my said Appeal with Effect<lb></lb>
