The King agst. John Hider< no role > and
George Wise< no role > on the
Prosecution of

William Wise< no role > of Saint James Market in the
County of Middlesex Green Grocer Maketh Oath that
this Deponent and Harry Potter< no role > became Bail for the
Defendants Appearance in april Session last on a
Warrant issued against them for an Assault And
this Deponent further saith that he is informed
and believes a true Bill was found against the
said Defendants in the said April Sessions but
this Deponent verily believes the said Defendants
hath not heard thereof And this Deponent did not
know that such Indictment had been preferredand
untill Saturday last when he received a Letter from
the Clerk of the Peace informing this Deponent that
his Recognizance would be estreated unless an Application
was made at the present Sessions to respite the same
And this Deponent further saith that he hath made
diligent enquiry after the said Defendants and this
Deponent hath been informed and believes it to be
true that the said Defendant are both out of
Town and are expected house in the course of three
Weeks
