AT the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Tuesday the Seventh Day of Junein the
Thirty firstYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, &c. Before William
Mainwaring

Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Milton next
Gravesend in the county of Kent Have at this present Session Exhibited their Petition and
Appeal setting forth That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals
of R Davies and Robert Smith< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the County
of Middlesex one whereof is of the Quorum bearing date the 28th. day of May last Richard Rudman< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their three Children Vizt. John< no role > Aged about Thirteen Years Ann< no role > aged about
Nine Years and Robert< no role > Aged about Eight years were removed and conveyed from and out of
the Parish of Saint John of Wapping in the said County of Middlesex to the said
Parish of Milton next Gravesend in the County of Kent as the place of their last legal
settlement whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said
Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the said Parishes their Counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the Premises It is at
the request of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint John of
Wapping Ordered that the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two Justices be and the
same is hereby Quashed and It is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said Parish of Milton next Gravesend do forthwith convey and deliver
back the said Richard Rudman< no role > Elizabeth his Wife and their said Children together with a
Copy of this Order unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of
Saint John of Wapping who are hereby required to receive and provide for the said
Richard Rudman< no role > Elizabeth his Wife and their said three Children until they can free
themselves from the charge thereof by due course of Law
