John Wardell< no role > of Compton Street Soho in the County of
Middlesex Gentleman Maketh Oath and Saith that
since the Obtaining of the annexed Order, he the Deponent
hath used his ut most endeavours to find ont the said
Prosecutor John Stanford Girdler so as to save him with
Notice that the Defendant John Hunt< no role > would appear and
try the Traverse in this Indictment on this Day the
present Quarter Session for the County of Middlesex but
After Strict Search this Deponent could not find him
our so as to Serve him with the Same And the Depended
further saith that he has Called Sevaral times at
Prosecutors Last and usual Place of Residence at his
Chambers or Appartments No. 18 Clements Inn in the
said County of Middlesex and that When he So Called
he never could meet with any Person therein to Whom he
could deliver such Notice And this Deponent Further
Saith that he did on the Fifth Day of April instant
lease a Copy of the annexed Order and Notice a the
Prosecutors Said last and usual Place of Residencely
putting the same in at a hole cut in the Door of the
said Chambers or Appartments for the Purpose of learing
Letters Notices &
