MIDDLESEX .


At the GeneralSession of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, ()
on Monday the Fourteenth Day of February in the
Thirty firstYear of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc. B efore William
Mainwaring
< no role > , William Bleamire< no role > , Richard Tayler< no role > , Charles Sheppard< no role >
Esquires , and others their Fellows, Justices of our said Lord the
King, assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid; and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Trespasses, and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth in the
County of Surry Did at the last General Quarter Session of the Peace held in and for this County Exhibit
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by and Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of Edward Read< no role > and Thomas Gordon< no role > Esquires two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace in
and for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 13th. day of
November 1790 Charlotte Pullein< no role > aged about about Eighteen Years of Age a Singlewoman was removed
and conveyed from and out of the parish of Chiswick in the said County of Middlesex to the parish
of St Mary Lambeth in the County of Surry as the place of her last legal settlement whereby the
Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved which said Appeal stood duly adjourned until this Session
Now upon hearing the said Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parishes their counsel and Witnesses in and concerning the premises
It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby dismissed and the said Order or Pass
Warrant of the said two Justices is hereby Confirmed and It is further Ordered that the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Saint Mary Lambeth do maintain and
provide for the said Charlotte Pullein until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by
due course of Law.
