Thomas Hale< no role > of new Compton Street in the Parish of Saint Giles in
the Fields in the County of Middlesex Gentleman Attorney for the
Defendant maketh oath and saith that he was present as a Witness
on the Fifteenth Day of this instant January and did see the above
Elizabeth Bristo the Prosecutrix Sign Seal and as her Act and Deed
deliver the within General Release and the mark or Cross thereto singed
or set is the proper mark of the said Elizabeth Bristo and that the
name Thos. Hale< no role > and the words (the mark of Elizabeth Bristo) are
the proper Hand writing of the said Thomas Hale< no role > as Witness to the
said General Release
