Gentlemen
The East Regiment of Militia for County
being now assembled under Cornmand (in the Absense of Colonel
Tufnell) for their annual Exercise & Quarter'd in Edmonton &
Places Adjacent I Could with not to inter fere in my Civil
Capacity during the time I am under the Martial Lan & as
I am Apprehensive Some disputer may Arise at the ensuing
Statue at Edmonton by Some Papers Which have seen
dispers'd abroad two which I here in close I therefore Request
the favor of the Court to take the Same into Consideration &
to give such Order as they Shall deem Necessary for the me
Preservation of the peace on that Occasion.

the Publicans of Edmonton Complain to me of the hardships they Sustain
During the time of the Fair by a Great number of Persons bringing
Ale & Beer in Carts from distant parts of the County & Setting it
to the Great detriment of them who are regularly Licensd.
