Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved and
accordingly appealed against the said Order which
coming on to be heard at the sd Sessions It was
Ordered upon Motion of Counsel made for that
purpose for and on behalf of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Ann Westminster
that the said Order of the said
two Justices be & the same was thereby quashed
That notwithstanding the Court of Quarter
Session having quashed the sd Order of the 14th
of November last another Order has since been
made by Edward Gray< no role >
& I Barnfather Esqres.
two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in &
for the County of Middlesex
& City and liberty of
Westminster
bearing date the 19th days February
last whereby they have again removed the said
Amelia Williams< no role >
to the said Parish of Bray
That your Petitioners conceive themselves
aggrieved by the said Order of the 19th of February last
for it does not state that the said Amelia
Williams< no role >
had obtained a new Settlement in the
said Parish of Bray
subsequent is the last
Quarter Sessions when the said Order of 14th of Novr
1788 was quashed or any other special
Circumstance to induce the said Edwd Gray< no role >
and
J Barnfather to make such Order of 19th of
February as aforesaid
Your Petitioners therefore pray that
the said Order of removal made by
the sd Edwd Gray< no role >
& Barnfather of the
19th of February last may be quashed
and that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St Anne
may pay to your Petitioners the Charges
of such removal and the Expences of
maintaining the said Pauper since
She was to removed on the 14th. day of
Novr last as aforesaid & also the Costs of
this and the former Application
And Your Petitioners shall
ever pray Etc
