MASON'S WORK,

PROPOSED TO BE DONE IN ERECTING THE

HOUSE OF CORRECTION

FOR THE

COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX.

Which together with the Printed book of the plans, and an annexed Paper
containing some Variations to accomodate the Scantling of the Cubes to
Platna Stone, is intended for the Form of Proposal to be received from
Contractors.

CUBE of Purbeck Portland in all the Stone work as described in the Plans and Particular,
including working, setting, and all other labour relating thereto, except letting in
and running Iron work, the scantlings to be varied according to the written description
of dimensions annexed to the Book of Plans, Etc, at per Foot }- 3 3

Ditto in Purbeck Platna, according to the same Particular and description, including as
above,as per Foot }- 3 1

Ditto in any other Stone of equal goodness, including as above, at per Foot. - 4 -


Cube of Purbeck Portland to shafts of Piers, if each in one Stone 5 Feet 6½ inches long, 2 feet
7 inches by 2 feet 4 inches.at per foot,

Superficial of Purbeck Stone to all the Doors of the Cells and Wards, Etc. the breadth of the re-
spective walls, and 6 inches thick at ditto.Aberdeen Granate landing to the several Stair- }- 2 6

York shire elland edge Paving, 2½ Inches thick to the Lodge, the Arcades, the store
Rooms, Keeper's Rooms, and Cells of every denomination, Etc. per Particular,

Ditto in the Archways to Arcades, 1 and 2 Pair and to the Baths laid in Terrance.
