the Defendant above named maketh Oath and
saith that Henry Dwyer< no role >
is as this Deponent hath been advised and verily
believes a material Witness for this Deponenton the Trial of the above mentioned
Indictment And that without the benefit of the Testimony of the said Henry
Darfer he this Deponent cannot Safely proceed to the Trial there of And this
Deponent further saith that the Said Henry Dwyer< no role >
did about a Fortnight since
Set off from hisHouselodgings in duke Street piccadilly
as this Deponent hath been
informed and believes in order is Travel to Bath [..]
[..] And this Deponent saith that the said Henry Dwyer informed
this Deponent previous to his going to Bath that he Should return to London
before Christmas next and Lastly Deponent saith that he apprehend
and believes the said Henry Dwyer< no role >
will be in London before the next Session
of the Peace to be holden for the County of Middlesex
and that this Deponent
shall be able to Procure the said Henry Dwyer to attend at the said next
Sessions a Witness on behalf of this Deponent the Trial of the above
Indictment.
