Sessions-House, Clerkenwell-Green .
8th October, 1787.

You were bound for the Appearance of Thomas Earll< no role >
at September
Session last at the Session-House for the said County, who
not appearing, your Recognizance is become forfeited; and
will Estreated into the Court of Exchequer , from whence
Execution will proceed for the levying 20 Pounds
on your Goods and Chattels; unless Care be taken
to stop Proceedings, by an Application for a Respite at the
next Session, which will begin at the Sessions-House aforesaid
on Monday the 22d Day of October Instant.

Be there at Three o'Clock; and
bring this Letter with you, or
come to my Office for advice.}
