to the intent that the same may be delivered to the Justices of such Coun-
ties adn inferior Jurisdictions at their next Quarter Sessions, and that Letters
written therewith expressing the confidence this Court entertains that the
Facts contained in the said report, and the recommendation of the Commit-
tee of Magistrates making the same will be duly attended to by the Justices
in such respective Counties and inferior Jurisdictions.

of Our said Lord the King, assigned to keep the Peace in the said
County, and also to hear and determine divers Felonies, Tres-
passes, and other Misdemeanors committed within the said County
of CHESTER
.
WHEREAS it appears to this Court, that the Charge of apprehending and
conveying Rogues and Vagabonds is a very great Expence to the Inhabitants
of the said County of CHESTER
; AND WHEREAS the former Orders of this
Court made for the lessening of such Expences have proved ineffectual for
that Purpose. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED by this Court that form
and after the Twenty fourth Day of June next, such former Orders shall be
and hereby are replaced and made void; And, for the reducing the Expences
occasioned by the apprehending and conveying of Vagrants in this County,
and for preventing the fraudulent Practices of Constables and others con-
cerned in the apprehending and conveying of Vagrants,IT IS ORDERED
by this Court, that no Sum of Money or any other Thing whatsoever shall
directly or indirectly be taken by or allowed to any Clerk of any Justice of
the Peace in the said County for the taking or any Examination, or for the
making of any Pass of Duplicate thereof, or for any Certificate relating to
the Allowance to be made for the Conveyance of any Rogue, Vagabond,
or
